Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Augusta County improve their lives.
We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.
The 2023 Virginia Cow Calf Conference will be held on March 1, 2023 at Weyers Cave Community Center from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The program will feature a 2023 Cattle Market Outlook by Dr. Charley Martinez, Farm Financial Specialist for the University of Tennessee. Additionally, recent EPDs developed by various breed associations for Claw Set and Foot Angle will be covered. Registration for the program is $15 and includes lunch.
