Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Augusta County improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

2019 Low Stress Cattle Handling Clinic

Are your cattle meeting their full potential?  Do you want to maximize cattle gains and profits?  Wonder why cows do what they do? 

The 2019 Low Stress Cattle Handling Clinic featuring Tom Curtin is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, 2019 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Shenandoah Valley Agricultural Research and Extension Center/McCormick Farm located at 128 Cyrus McCormick Circle, Raphine, VA.
